Audrey received her B.S. in Special Education from the University of Maryland in 2001 and her M.Ed in Special Education in 2009 from Lehigh University. Audrey has taught students with moderate to severe disabilities in both middle and high school. She also worked as the school-based coordinator for Lehigh University's Transition and Assessment Services where she supported students in the community and adults in supported employment. Currently, she is working part-time as a graduate research assistant at the National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center (NSTTAC) grant at University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She is also a third year doctoral student in the special education department, completing her dissertation. Her primary research interests are in self-determination, alignment of transition and general education.
