Making Workplace Accommodations: Reasonable Costs, Big Benefits
The U.S. Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) has released a a full color, downloadable fact sheet that summarizes a recent survey conducted by the Job Accommodation Network on the costs of providing accommodations to employees with disabilities.

New Resource on Disability Disclosure
This curriculum has been adapted for youth ages 14-24 to train them to talk about their disability in an informed manner should they choose to disclose their disability in a work, school, and/or community setting.  It is to be used as a supplement to the original 411 on Disability Disclosure: A Workbook for Youth with Disabilities (2005).

Data Maps
The National Center for Culturally Responsive Educational Systems and the National Institute for Urban School Improvement have developed this interactive data website to help states and school districts examine their special education data.
 
Exhibition of Young Emerging Artists with Disabilities
Very Special Arts (VSA) is now accepting entries for Accelerate, a national juried exhibition of young emerging artists with disabilities. Deadline: June 19, 2009.
  Recovery.gov
This website, Recovery.gov, will be the main vehicle to provide each and every citizen with the ability to monitor the progress of the recovery and where your tax dollars are being spent.
The Joshua O’Neill and Zeshan Tabani Enrichment Fund
The Joshua O'Neill and Zeshan Tabani Enrichment Fund offers financial assistance to young adults with Down syndrome who wish to enrich their lives by enrolling in postsecondary programs or taking classes. Deadline: July 17, 2009.
Going to College
Going to College is a new web site with information about living college life with a disability. It is designed for teens with disabilities and provides video clips, activities, information, and additional resources that can help students get a head start in planning for college.
