State Transition Resources:
The department has worked tirelessly with teachers, transition coordinators, adult service providers and parents in an effort to develop a tool that would enable us to provide better transition services to students. It is our hope that the website will serve as a transition guide that will help us improve post-school outcomes for students with disabilities in Louisiana.

Professional Development Resources:
The state launched a transition website during 2011 that provides updated information on training related to transition and dropout prevention.
Links to webinars, PowerPoints, and required forms are available on the website. Links to other agencies that provide transition services are also included on the website.
