Professional Development Resources:
Michigan's Transition Outcomes Project (MI-TOP) holds three, two day, transition seminars per year which provide training on data collection, data analysis, data based planning and evidence based practices.
Other State Activities:
The MI-TOP Core Team, which consists of representatives of schools, state wide organizations, agencies and parents, meets regularly to plan training and advise the State Department on Transition related issues. The Michigan Transition Services Association (MTSA) with over 600 members holds and annual Conference which provides professional development and networking opportunities.
